ENERGY DIPLOMACY
The paper deals with issues of energy diplomacy. The topicality and importance of this agenda is determined by many factors, primarily by the facts that at the present stage the world energy market is acquiring a global dimension more and more visibly, that competition for access to energy resources is constantly intensifying, that direct and indirect dependence of energyconsumers on energy producers and transit countries is increasing. These factors substantially change the role and place of Russia in the world economic relations and in its relationship with other centers and institutions of the global energy policy.
