INTERSTATE COOPERATION AGAINST ECONOMIC CRIME.

The paper deals with one of the most topical issues of presentday economic cooperation – struggle against international crime in this sphere. The paper focuses on the major directions, features and effectiveness of international cooperation in the fight against economic crime. The essence of such cooperation in criminal court proceedings, the status of international treaties on legal assistance and legal relationship concerning extradition, the honoring by the Russian Federation of requests for legal assistance, the procedure of implementation by our side of requests to launch criminal investigation or to carry out criminal prosecution are analyzed.
