LEGAL REGIME OF PARTICIPATION OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION IN A CIVILLAW RELATIONS

The paper analyzes the essence of state as an actor in civil (private) law. The paper deals only with issues concerning participation of the Russian Federation ( as a federal state) in civillaw relations. Participation of the Russian Federation’s entities and municipal bodies in civillaw relations are not considered in the paper.

The aim of the paper is to provide an allembracing analysis of the issue in question with the main focus being put on legislation and law enforcement practice. Examination of functions of the state and its bodies as actors in civil law relations, legal succession, forms of participation of the state in civillaw relations, civillaw relation that involve the state and are “encumbered by a foreign player” as well as other topical issues are under review.
