THE BALANCE BETWEEN THE INDIVIDUAL AND COLLECTIVE INTERESTS AS THE FOUNDATION OF A STRONG DEMOCRATIC STATE

Over the past three years the changes of the socio- and political situation in theUkraine after the events that were called “the orange revolution” have been accompanied by repeated dissolutions of the parliament, resignation of the government, individual ministers and judges of the Constitutional Court of the Ukraine which has set conditions for the erosion of the Ukranian statehood, the expansion of corruption undermining the national security and the sustainable development of the society. The paper analyzes the conditions andmeasures for strengthening the Ukrainian statehood at thepresent stage.
