MEDICAL ACCUMULATION ACCOUNTS A MECHANISM FOR EFFICIENTLY MANAGING AND FINANCING THE HEALTHCARE SYSTEM
The paper is devoted to the issues of developing new approaches to the organization, management and financing of the healthcare system. The paper analyzes the principles and models of the domestic healthcare system, its funding mechanisms. The author is the first to put forward the system of individual healthcare accumulation accounts based on the funding principle “money goes together with a patient”.
The paper describes the way the accumulationmedical insurance model functions, demonstrates its advantages and shows the experience of the USA in introducing individual healthcare accounts.
